The ONLY Bass You'll Ever Need

MODO Bass is the first ever physically modelled bass instrument, meaning you get unprecedented realism and superior customisation. It's the first technology of its kind, modelling the entire process of bass playing, from the tone itself to the relation to other notes.

Cutting-Edge Technology

Traditional virtual instruments are sample-based, meaning that sound is produced by triggering recorded samples of instruments. This is fine most of the time, but limited in what you can do with regards to tone and variation. MODO BASS isn’t a sample-based instrument, but rather a completely new technology where sound is generated by recreating the physical properties of a real instrument — everything that makes an instrument create sound is physically modelled and sound is synthesised in real time using Modal Synthesis Technology.

Each string's behaviour is determined by its physical parameters, from the string type, fretboard, body and pickup. Added on to this is the vast suite of effects and amp sims.

Unlimited Combinations

As MODO Bass is synthesised, you can pick and choose which elements you want in your sound. As standard, there are 12 iconic basses that cover every genre of music, and feature varying woods, string types, pickups and more. This is just the starting point however, you can customise to your hearts content.

Pick Your Strings

There is a whole section dedicated to string type, which will drastically change the sound. You can choose the actual number of strings (4 or 5) to determine the note scale range of the bass. You can also choose the gauge of the string set which affects timbre and sustain, the age of the strings which changes the relative “brightness” of the tone, plus the physical construction of the strings (round wound, flat wound, etc.) which changes the type of “slide noise” introduced when moving up and down the neck. In addition to the string-specific parameters, you can change the bass’ physical scale length as well as the action, or physical distance between the strings and the fretboard. Changing the action changes the timbre and amount of the fret noise when playing — a lower action produces slightly more fret noise when played aggressively, just like on a real bass.

Play Your Way

In addition to the construction customisation, you can also choose how the bass it played. A slap bass will give that funky twang, whereas a picked bass can provide a more 'hardcore' tone. Another techniques include muting and finger playing, in which you can actually change how many fingers are used and with what force.

Pickups

Each bass lets you have up to 2 pickups and a piezo pickup. There are 20 pickups to choose from, each with their own tonal characteristics, and can be combined and altered. You can change the position, and even tweak the frequency response. Control the overall tone with tone control knobs, just like on a real bass, and even choose whether you want them to be active or passive!

Amp / FX

With MODO BASS, you have full control over the signal path and get 7 bass effect stomp box effects and two classic bass amplifiers. Choose from an Octaver, Distortion, Chorus, Compressor, Delay, Envelope Filter or Graphic EQ.

Choose from a classic all-tube amplifier and 1x15 cab, or you can choose a powerhouse solid-state model with a 4x10 cab. Each amp gives you full control over gain structure, EQ (with mid-frequency adjustment on the tube amp), and additional fine-tuning options with a graphic EQ. There is also a global bypass feature that allows you to route the bass signal from MODO BASS into another amp effects modelling suite like AmpliTube Custom Shop, where there’s a whole new world of sonic options available for bass tone shaping and effects waiting for you.

Ultimate Control

MODO Bass gives you control over a large variety of different parameters, which you can automate in real time, such as vibrato, mute application and more.

It's hard to believe that all of this is achieved using synthesis and modelling techniques, and not derived from samples. Because of this, the plugin is extremely lightweight and won't take up too much memory.

2. Contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369898 (or e-mail cs@inta-audio.com). We will then send you an RMA number and returns form which needs to be completed and sent back with the returned item(s).

4. When returning an item please obtain a ‘proof of postage’ receipt from the Courier.

Returned items must be mailed within 10 days of when the RMA Number has been issued. Items received with a post date 30 days after your requested return will NOT be eligible for refund.

Please note: Our returns policy is quite straightforward but there are a number of conditions that we ask our customers to comply with before applying:

1. It is your responsibility to request a return. If you don’t tell us you want to make a return, we don’t know. Once you do tell us, we will do everything we can to action it.

2. If you have not requested a return within 28 days of receiving an order, we will have assumed that you are intending to keep it and we will not authorise a return.

3. We always refund the payment according to how the original purchase was made and aim to do so within 72hrs of the return being received by us.

4. Returned goods are liable for a restocking fee of 15% towards handling and repackaging if the order is not returned in its original, unopened packaging. This charge will be subject to our inspection of the returned goods.

5. Delivery charges will not be refunded unless the delivered goods are faulty.

6. Replacement products are dispatched immediately after the returned goods have been received and accepted by Inta Audio.

7. Items that develop a fault within 30 days of delivery are eligible for a replacement or a refund. Delivery costs are also reimbursed for faulty items. Please contact our Customer Services Team on 02476 369898 if you believe your item has developed a fault.
