Digidesign currently anticipates that the Mbox 2 Factory bundle will ship concurrently with Mbox 2. The Mbox 2 Factory includes more than £650 in plug-ins for only a few quid more than Mbox 2, offering a great value for customers. The Mbox 2 Factory includes a complete Mbox 2 system plus an iLok USB Smart Key and the following additional pre-authorised Digidesign and Bomb Factory plug-ins:

• Digidesign Maxim™:
  A must-have, world-class peak limiting and sound level maximising plug-in that optimises the overall level of audio input while preserving the integrity of the original sound.
   
• Bomb Factory moogerfooger® Analogue Delay:
  A warm delay meticulously based on Bob Moog’s classic analogue design.
   
• Bomb Factory JOEMEEK® SC2™ Compressor:
  A compressor with a unique edge, modelled after hardware units used by top producers around the globe.
   
• Bomb Factory JOEMEEK VC5™ Meequalizer®:
  An equalizer that recreates a custom Joe Meek box that featured a treble and bass circuit with a sweepable mid control.
   
• Bomb Factory Cosmonaut Voice™:
  An “out-of-this-world” plug-in that offers a telephone voice, interplanetary effects, distortion, squelch, and even an authentic tone culled from recently declassified Russian space footage, all through a funky-looking interface.
