The Dark Side – Virtual Instrument Collection
Created and produced by Doug Rogers (EastWest) and David Fridmann (MGMT, The Flaming Lips etc), The Dark Side provides inspiration for all composers and artists looking for something unique and different, and of course, if you work in film, TV, and game music production, this will give you an edge to separate you from your competitors.
Quantum Leap RA – World Instrument
Quantum Leap RA provides composers with access to a variety of rare and unique instruments from across the globe. Sample musical styles from Africa, Europe, India, the Americas and Australia, the Far East, and the Middle East and Turkish Empires. Musicians will find that RA has an amazing sound quality and they’ll marvel at the articulation of each instrument which has a wide range that goes from controlled to expressive.
Quantum Leap Silk – World Instrument
All sounds in demos 1-4 are SILK multi-samples triggered from a midi keyboard, except the percussion, which is from SD2 PRO. The sound you hear in the demos is the raw sound coming from PLAY. No external effects, EQ or reverb was used in these demos, except a subtle compressor, which was placed on the master bus. No phrases or performances from SILK were used in demos 1-4.
Quantum Leap Gypsy – World Instrument
While the name Gypsy may sound like a niche category in the world of audio samples, it is actually extremely versatile. From flamenco guitar and foot stomps to south African-sounding percussion, there are a lot of possibilities. Check out the trailer for a better understanding, and you will see just how it can be used.
